I just created a Twitter account, but I still don’t know how to use it, yet even still haven’t decide to use it in the future!

I’m a traditional man out of the times, in some measure. People all around the world have such a crush on things like Twitter or Facebook, and for about three or two years, some of those guys know me or don’t know me on the Internet just keep sending me emails and inviting me to try such things many times, but even to this day, after I have a Twitter account, I still haven’t tried Facebook, and I still even don’t know what I should do to Twitter.

And I always tell people that if you have something urgent and need to contact me, just give me a ring, and don’t expect me to reply your mobile phone text messages in good time, since I seldom check it! Maybe somebody send me a message via phone in the morning, but it’s midnight when I read the message.

That’s true! I even reply an email much faster than a SMS. Somebody once asked me:” Then why do you keep your phone?” Two reasons: one for somebody to contact me urgently, the other for me to contact others urgently!

I once read an article about the manners of gentlemen. Of which tells that a gentleman should reply SMS very quickly.

I disagree with that!

One of my friend once told me that: “Yes, it is very convenient to have a mobile phone, but the conveniency is not for you, but for others, for them to contact you anytime!”

I take it as a wisdom and can’t agree with it more!

Just think, if somebody calls you when you are sleeping in the midnight, or taking a pee or bathing, or reading in the quite library? What’s more, what if somebody rings you just to persuade you to buy something you don’t like at that time, what will you think again?

I believe that, if somebody wants to get you for something important, he always have some other ways to contact you! So it is not necessary to keep a mobile phone with you all the time! That’s why sometimes I don’t take mobile phone when I’m out! That’s how I can ensure that I don’t to be bothered all the time!

Compared to make a call, I prefer to writing. Yes, I do enjoy writing, writing emails or a letter on the papers. And I also enjoy the happiness of hearing from my friends or families. You can’t enjoy that by answering a call, just as you cannot enjoy the joy of holding a book in your hand by reading on the Internet! When you write a letter, you are writing with all your heart!

For several times, I was laughed at because of my hobbies of writing letters by some of my coworkers. They told me that I’m a man behind the times.

Maybe it’s true! However, some of my friends also told me that they still kept the emails or letters I sent them after so many years. I was so glad to hear that!

Some so-called experts have declared that emails and letters were dying since IM or SNS websites are hot. I don’t think so. For me, I would rather be laughed at than giving them up.

Old soldiers never die, so do emails and letters!

As I walked out of the library and waited the green light by the street, a young couple walked over from the other side. The husband was pushing a double-seat baby carriage with two babies in, and the wife walked by his side!

As I looked at the two babies with great interest, the young mom noticed that, and she smiled to me. I felt so embarrassing for my rude manners. To try to cover up my nervousness, I asked as they went by, “Twins?”

“Yes!” The mother answered, and then teach the babies to greet me, “Call uncle! Call uncle…”

What a happy family and two lovely babies! I wish they would have a very very happy life all the time!

Yesterday is April Fool’s Day, and I started up this blog on that day. It seems that it is a joke for the day! However, I do take it very seriously to not let it become a joke!

On the ID card, yesterday is also my birthday. However, it’s just a registration error. The real birthday of mine is May 4. But I have never planed to change it, because all the information of mine has been registered as April 1st. If I want to change the date on the ID card, I have to change thousands of hundreds of data. I’m over 16 years old, and have never planed to commit any crime, so April 1st and May 4 are all the same to me! So there’s no necessary to correct it!

I received four birthday greetings yesterday, one from the city blood center, and three from two banks.

I donate blood every three months, and the next time will be in late this month. Each year the city blood center send me birthday greetings after I began to donate blood in this city in 2006. This time, the message goes like this:

Dear Mr Victor Jing,
Thanks for your noble deeds of participating in the unpaid blood donation as a token of the love! Today is your birthday, we’d like to send our best wishes to you! Happy birthday!
Shenzhen Blood Center

And the greetings from China Merchants Bank is as below:

Dear Mr Victor Jing,
How do you do? April 1st is your birthday, the Credit Card Center of China Merchants Bank wish you a happy birthday, and thanks for your support to our credit card!
China Merchants Bank

The other two messages, which are from a same bank, are actually tow ads to advise me to use their service. I didn’t, I don’t and I’ll never will use it! I’m on the brink of bankruptcy, so never expect I’ll take out even a penny!

Hi, there!

What? Still nobody there! Then hello world! I know, no matter what happened, no matter what the time is, the world is there. The only question is whether it is yours or not!

It is not my first time to write a blog, yet it is not my first time to write a blog in English, a foreign language which I still haven’t mastered, but it is true for the first time I take it so seriously to hold on to it, because I’d like to take it as a new start of my life! I’d like to make it a new day in my life! Just like Bryan Adams sung in his song

It’s a new world
It’s a new start
It’s alive with the beating of young hearts
It’s a new day
It’s a new plan

Yes, I do have to make a change of the mess of my life. As the old Chinese idiom goes like this:”Poverty gives rise to a desire for change. ”

President Obama: Change We Can Believe In

I don’t know what people usually write in the first post of a new blog, but I know the only right thing I should do is to act and to carry it on!

The world is still there! Your think it is not yours, but you are wrong! It has never give you up! If there is somebody to give it up, that must be yourself!

So just move, Victor!
